Tim Devine

Carlos Gracie → Carlson Gracie → Ricardo Libório → Wilson Gouveia → Tim Devine

Tim Devine is a second‑degree black belt and one of the most experienced and well‑rounded instructors at American Top Team West Pines. He began training in 2007 in Doral, Florida, later advancing his skills under MMA legend Guy Mezger at Guy Mezger's Combat Sports Club in Dallas. In 2011, Tim returned to South Florida and became a dedicated student of Professor Wilson Gouveia and Professor Vince Werner, earning his black belt in 2019.

Tim's commitment to continuous growth has made him a respected figure in the BJJ community. He regularly trains with top academies in Connecticut and Maine, including Soulcraft BJJ and The Foundry, bringing fresh perspectives and high‑level technique back to ATT West Pines.

Outside the academy, Tim has served 29 years in law enforcement and works with the Florida Athletic Commission as an Inspector for combat sporting events—experience that deepens his understanding of martial arts at the professional level. He lives in South Florida with his partner Mildred and their beloved Parti Yorkie, Obi‑Wan.
